As a fifth generation Floridian, JB Edwards has a comprehensive knowledge of the Florida real estate market. You could say that real estate runs in the family. Growing up, he learned the business from his mother, a top producing agent for over 35 years. That experience and knowledge coupled with his business experience in advertising and as a former member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange uniquely positions JB to provide sellers and buyers alike with astute business acumen, analysis and negotiating skills.
Since becoming licensed in 2005, he has developed a comprehensive knowledge of Palm Beach island inventory and pricing of single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and commercial properties from the inlet to well south of Sloan's Curve. He brings all of the local knowledge and global reach resources that the Sotheby's International Realty brand has to offer to a client's needs, whether buyer or seller.
Committed to the community, JB is an active member of the Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church Palm Beach, a number of outreach programs including the True Fund, St. George’s Center, Empty Bowl 2014 and 2015 and the St. George’s Center Board of Directors. He also enjoys membership in the Kravis Center of the Performing Arts, Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, Norton Museum of Art and the Society of the Four Arts Contemporaries.
JB has recently been nominated and elected by his peers to serve as a Director on the Palm Beach Board of Realtors' Board of Directors. His three-year term begins January 2017.
JB is a licensed Broker Associate and has completed the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) coursework on topics from marketing and servicing listed properties to real estate law.
