Robert Greenblatt has recently joined the VK Team after transitioning from a successful career in the luxury goods sector of the marketplace. As a former C-Suite Executive, he successfully managed businesses with total revenues exceeding $200 Million across globally recognized brands.
Decades of international travel for various business opportunities have afforded Robert first hand exposure to cultural diversity. These experiences heightened his awareness of people with a broad range of customs and best practices, providing him with invaluable knowledge and insights. His appreciation of these differences makes him comfortable and competent engaging with foreign buyers and sellers alike.
A native New Yorker, the fast-paced sometimes chaotic nature of New York City is emulated in his approach to work and life. Extremely personable, he is able to interact and exchange in meaningful conversations from a friend to a complete stranger; this type of familiarity eases the setting and accelerates the established trust from the onset.
Even though he knows all the nuances and hidden gems associated with many diverse neighborhoods, he is fluent in the Upper East Side, having owned (3) co-ops and being a renter in numerous different luxury doorman buildings.
He has “hands on” experience with complete gut renovations, as well as an extensive number of contacts in the home fashion vendor community to assist with all interior design suggestions, improvements and the purchase of materials/ furnishings. He has a gifted ability to pay careful attention and remember the smallest details. These characteristics combined with a professionally trained “eye” and elevated taste level will prove invaluable assessing the current state and potential of his client’s space.
Various memberships Robert is a part of include: Congregation Emanu-El of New York, Moma, Met, Frick, International Center of Photography Museum and ABT. He is also very active in charitable activities such as Needakidney.org , the American Kidney Fund, Housing Works, New Eyes for the Needy and the Ronald McDonald House.
