Michael Walsh joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016.
After successfully launching his own company, MP Walsh Realty, LLC in July 2012, Michael is thrilled to expand on his more than 17 years of expertise in the New York City Real Estate brokerage industry.
Michael began his real estate career in 1997 as a property manager, overseeing 21 buildings in Chelsea. Michael successfully managed million-dollar budgets along with numerous tenant and lease negotiations. In 2001, he joined DG Neary Realty as a sales associate assisting clients in both sales and rentals.
Michael is currently a co-op owner and has served as the co-op board president for his building for eight years. This experience has given Michael a keen insight with great knowledge into fully understanding the vast co-op process, being able to help and assist his clients on their behalves toward achieving the best outcome.
With Michael’s extensive experience as a multi-property manager, sales associate, and, ultimately, owner of MP Walsh Realty, he is uniquely qualified to offer his clients a broad range perspective on the current real estate market that few professionals can offer. Michael has become an expert throughout Manhattan including Chelsea, East/West Village, Gramercy, Clinton/Hell’s Kitchen/Theater District, Midtown, as well as the Upper East and West Sides.
Simply put, Michael loves helping each seller, buyer, or renter through every step of the process and truly cares about finding the right property for all of his clients. He enjoys the wide diversity of the city’s population, welcoming the unique and individual lifestyles of his clients, all of who can attest to his caring, open, and sincere business approach. Michael has developed a widespread reputation for not only knowing the New York real estate market thoroughly, but for being a hardworking, trustworthy adviser for all his clients.
Michael received a B.S. in Business Management from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.
