Joy Kimmelman first entered the world of New York City real estate as a buyer. Determined to find the right home for her growing family, she combed through real estate listings, studied neighborhoods, and responded to an ad placed by a listing agent. The apartment she viewed was not perfect, but the agent representing the property was. Thanks to this real estate agent who understood her needs, Joy was soon celebrating the New Year in her new home in Carnegie Hill. She has since moved out of that apartment and now lives across the street in an historic townhouse.
Joy has been a Manhattan real estate agent for nearly 20 years. She has sold a variety of properties throughout Manhattan including townhouses, condominiums, and cooperatives in all price ranges. Her high energy level and get-up-and-go attitude make her a natural for the fast paced world of New York City real estate. Her proven approach is a simple one— replicate her own positive personal experiences as a NYC property seller, buyer, and renter. Joy is up front and direct, listens to the needs of her sellers and buyers and confidently guides them through the often daunting NYC real estate sales or rental process.
Joy proudly joined Sotheby’s International Realty as a member of The Glenn Minnick Team. Combined, they have sold hundreds of properties through the years and bring a wealth of invaluable experience to buyers, sellers and investors alike. Joy is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York.
