Anne Zelmati is a global broker who knows that real estate is about much more than property.
As a longtime professional in the industry across two continents, with an extensive international background and an infectious love for New York City, Anne is highly experienced in working with foreign clients. Anne understands the border-crossing trend of purchasing properties abroad and she adapts to personal client needs, returns on investment, prestigious pieds–à–terre, apartments for children’s higher education, the relocation of multi-national families, and visa program investments.
With a distinguished background as a wealth management specialist and real estate attorney in France, Anne brings confidentiality, top-notch care and quality service. Her reputation is one of integrity and utmost discretion; showing intuition and sharp negotiation skills. She has quick eye for judging properties and seeing real growth potential.
Anne strives to add value to both client portfolios and lifestyles. For clients looking for unique properties, she will share her sense of place, her knowledge of urban planning, her passion for historic preservation and architecture, and her flair for finding the ideal home.
For overseas sellers, she offers them Sotheby International Realty’s global network of discerning international clients and luxury properties. And, as a member of the Federation of International Brokers (FIABCI), affiliated in 55 countries, she partners with real estate agents all over the world.
Originally from Lyon, France, Anne graduated from Pantheon-Assas School of Law in Paris. She has lived in Greenwich Village for years, hunting fascinating new developments in the far West Village and the stunning new Hudson Yards site. TriBeCa and SoHo, where she works as a sculptor, are also dear to her heart. Anne is an avid gardener, environmentalist, lifetime student of Post-War art, and a golf fan who follows her children in championships up and down the East Coast. She is a Board-Officer in her co-op in the Village and is also an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, and the National Association of Realtors.
