Seita Jongebloed's favorite part of her position as Vice President of Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty is helping agents develop their careers - one listing and one buyer at a time. Both seasoned and new agents seek out her guidance on questions from pricing property to handling the those challenging issues that sometimes arise. She especially enjoys collaborating with agents to achieve win-win solutions for their clients.
Seita began her career as an attorney with a boutique law firm, Hargis & Harpold, which represented real estate brokers across Texas. She became well-versed in "best practices" for Texas brokers, and honed skills such as contract drafting and negotiation. The firm also served as outside counsel for HAR, providing a behind-the-scenes view of Realtor ethical duties and cooperative compensation rules. More recently, Seita was on the management team as General Counsel for a leading local brokerage firm. She was privileged to work closely with many new agents along their journeys to become top producers.
"We are so incredibly lucky to have Seita as a Vice President at MTSIR. She is knowledgeable, thorough, approachable, smart, kind and always willing to help. Seita helps me to be a better agent and to represent my clients to the best of my ability." Suzann C. Richardson
"In addition to Seita's extensive knowledge of the legal aspects of real estate, she has the amazing ability of getting to the fundamental core of a deal and helping me to get it closed to the mutual satisfaction of all parties. Even after all of my years in the business, it is without saying that a quick glance of an offer or contract by Seita is at the top of my checklist which allows me the added confidence to move to closing." Dee Dee Guggenheim Howes
To recharge, Seita enjoys being outdoors, watching her kids on the playing field or on stage, and reading everything from classical literature to pinterest. She loves travel, especially to scuba dive or snow ski with her family. She volunteers with her children's schools, her church, and with various animal rescue groups. In addition, she has volunteered with many committees of the Houston Association of Realtors.
