Native Houstonian Robert Hamlin attended Lamar and graduated from the University of Houston. A Realtor since 1975 while still in college, Robert, a broker, started his own firm in 1984. He has been a consistent top producer and member of the Circle of Excellence since joining Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty in 2000 and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Robert was the Number One Top Producer in 2005 and 2006.
Robert loves keeping up with his buyers and sellers. “I stay in touch long after the transaction has closed. It’s a great feeling when things work out for both parties,” states Robert. Conversant in Spanish after living in Madrid for a year, Robert is well positioned to work in a diverse city like Houston. His strong suit is the Memorial Park area and he is a longtime Crestwood/Glencove homeowner. “Established neighborhoods inside the Loop are changing because of the predominance of new construction. A major part of my business comes from selling new construction in these fine old neighborhoods,” says Robert.
In addition to his memberships in HAR, TAR and NAR, Robert holds GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. He has served on nearly every major committee of the Houston Board of Realtors, was a director of HAR for four years, and a recipient of a Presidential Citation from the president of HAR.
