Lindsey Ellis, born in Houston, moved to Laguna Niguel, California for a brief time and then called Fort Worth, Texas home. Everyone in Lindsey’s family attended the University of Texas at Austin, so it was the logical choice for Lindsey’s academic pursuits. After graduation, Lindsey moved back to Houston and now considers herself a “Houstonian”.
Lindsey began her real estate career in 2011 after five years as an elementary school teacher at Poe Elementary in Southampton. Armed with patience and organizational skills, she found a position with a commercial real estate firm working on real estate transactions and property management. Lindsey’s association with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty began in 2014 as she spent time working for a top producer and quickly learned all aspects of residential transactions. Viewing real estate as a service industry, she has mastered an appreciation for keeping all moving parts running in a seamless fashion to drive a positive experience for her clients. Lindsey’s professionalism and constant communication serve as anchors for buyers and sellers in bringing them to a successful close.
Sharp negotiation skills and keeping abreast of the ever-changing landscape of Houston’s different neighborhoods and real estate market have become the hallmark for Lindsey’s success. She attributes her superb eye for architectural detail, color and design to the influence of her mother who is an interior designer. Lindsey is reliable, trustworthy and detail oriented. This winning combination coupled with keen listening skills allows this realtor to shine as she embarks on her quest to ensure every step of a real estate transaction is met with perfection.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga and running. She volunteers with Casa de Esperanza, Kappa Kappa Gamma Houston alumni group and Recipe for Success. She currently resides in Briargrove Park with her husband and their two Maine Coon cats.
