Kyle Santolini remembers being told at an early age that if he loved what he did, he would never work a day in his life. He took that to heart and has lived a life that is a testament to that good advice. Because he did so, he might have a hard time answering which of his achievements he is most proud, but earning a real estate license in both Texas AND New York – both of which have played such an important role in his life and business philosophy – would win. And his road to getting there enriched his life and developed skills essential to being a good Realtor.
A native Houstonian, Kyle trained and competed in dance as a young man. After graduating from school, he traveled the world as a professional dancer for a major cruise line. In between ships, Kyle came back to Texas to pursue another dream, real estate. In 2008, he earned his Texas Realtors license and began working in the rental industry. Later, when the opportunity to move to New York City came about, Kyle made the move and obtained his New York license in 2011, and spent 2 years as an agent in Manhattan’s aggressive rental market.
Knowing Houston was home; Kyle returned and worked as a Realtor in an Agent Support department before being chosen as a personal assistant to a top producing agent, learning and growing until he made the decision to become a full-time agent on his own. Since then, he has grown a successful network of clients with a niche market of young professionals buying and selling in Houston’s bustling Inner-Loop neighborhoods.
A good listener who is sensitive to his clients’ wants and needs, Kyle finds common ground and builds solid working relationships. Early world travels provided him the opportunity to live and work with people from many backgrounds, and aided his ability to relate to others, a fact that helps ease clients’ anxiety, creates trust, and helps get everyone to the closing table.
With a passion for interior design, one of many factors that pushed him into pursuing a real estate career, he has an eye for detail, craftsmanship and balance. These qualities help him guide sellers in preparing their homes for sale, while also helping buyers see potential in a less-than-perfect home and visualize what the end result could be.
Away from real estate, Kyle is a member of the young professionals group affiliated with The Buffalo Bayou Partnership called “Bayou Buddies.” He is also a member of the Rice Design Alliance. Kyle loves to explore Houston’s diverse and exciting food scene. He and his husband Andrew live in the Winlow Place subdivision of Montrose, where they love spending time with their English bulldog and boxer, Kennedy and Brutus.
