Proven top producer Julie O’Neill earned her stripes in the high-end, fast-paced residential real estate market of Chicago. When her husband transferred to Houston, Julie knew that the environment at Martha Turner Sotheby’s was the place for her. Julie has worked with buyers and sellers throughout the greater Houston area including The Heights, Garden Oaks/Oak Forest, Timbergrove, River Oaks, Midtown, Montrose, West University, EaDo, Spring, Friendswood, and Jersey Village, “I’ve been involved in high-end client service and sales positions for the bulk of my career, and have had the privilege of working with executives at all levels of an organization,” Julie says.
Like any consummate professional, Julie is very aware of the strengths she brings to the table. She approaches every client’s transaction with total commitment to learning what is important to them; is a stickler for detail, follow-up and open communication; and believes that in-depth research is the foundation for any home search and contract negotiation.
Julie presents her clients with candidate homes in areas that meet their location and standard of living requirements and suit their personal lifestyles. In addition to market information and comparable sales, she is careful to furnish her clients with a detailed profile of what each community has to offer so that they may make informed choices. “My greatest satisfaction comes from hearing how happy a client and their family are one month, six months, or a year after a transaction has closed, knowing that I was instrumental in helping them to make a very good decision. I can never receive a higher compliment,” Julie says.
Julie is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. When not working, she is passionate about animal welfare and pet rescue, and she and her husband often foster dogs. “All of our own pets were once strays,” she says. Leisure hours are spent with her husband in pursuits they both enjoy which include running, biking, hiking, and, of course, walking the dogs. “My husband and I put tremendous value in spending time with friends and entertain frequently,” Julie continues, “and we love the Houston restaurant scene!”
