Fourth-generation Texan Joshua Green has entrepreneurship in his blood. Joshua hails from a family of independent business owners who remodeled homes and invested in property. Beginning at an early age, he received real-life experience in business and the importance of quality construction and finish-out.
Prior to beginning his career with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, Josh worked for WestMark Companies, a leading independent real estate brokerage in Lubbock, Texas, where he held multiple positions that included sales support, property management, mortgage department, and commercial real estate. During his time with WestMark, he developed broad knowledge of the real estate business and learned what it takes to bring a transaction to a successful close for everyone involved.
In addition to real estate, Josh has earned success in a number of endeavors including franchise ownership. He owns two Nothing Bundt Cakes franchises in the Galleria and West University areas. “Managing multiple businesses has really developed my organizational skills,” he says. “Helping customers or clients to determine their needs and provide them with exceptional service is my forte.”
A career in residential real estate sales is a people-oriented business, and Josh truly enjoys new clients, getting to know them, and connecting them with the right property or the right buyer for their property. Organized, persistent, and detail oriented, Josh’s clients most often describe him as “loyal.”
Josh graduated from Texas Tech University where he earned a bachelor of business administration in general business and a bachelor of science in restaurant, hotel and institutional management.
Community service is important to Josh and he volunteers and supports a number of Houston charities including the Houston Food Bank f.r.e.s.h. Young Professionals, the Gentlemen’s Committee for VICTORY Cattle Baron’s Ball/American Cancer Society, and the Texas Tech Alumni Association.
When possible, Josh enjoys spending time with his family at their lake house near Hot Springs, Arkansas, attending the theater, traveling, snow skiing, wake-surfing, and wake-boarding.
