James Sessel may be the hardest-working Realtor you’ll meet. Maintaining a work/life balance is not difficult for James as homes are not only his profession but his passion as well. He finds homes – not houses – for his buyers and negotiates the best possible sales price for his sellers. For James, success is seeing happiness in his clients’ eyes at closing and an eagerness to step into the next chapter of their lives.
James uses Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty’s proven marketing techniques to provide excellent service, superior knowledge of market conditions and professional assistance for his buyers and sellers. He believes in constant communication and is sensitive to each client’s individual needs. A majority of his business stems from referrals from loyal – and very satisfied – clients, and James considers that the highest compliment he can ever receive. James feels being a good listener, being detail oriented, and having high ethical standards are important when representing buyers and sellers.
A native Houstonian with a strong background as a retail entrepreneur, James has carved his niche in home sales in top-notch neighborhoods across Houston for more than 15 years. Bellaire, Meyerland, West University, Southampton, Memorial Park area, Medical Center, Tanglewood and the Memorial Villages are all very familiar territory. James represents buyers and sellers in all price points, and is especially knowledgeable in assisting relocation clients moving in and out of Houston and first-time home-buyers. He works hard to educate them about the Houston market and the home-purchase process and explains every phase of the transaction in detail to ensure their peace of mind. For all of his clients, buyers and sellers, James’ goal is a smooth, stress-free, comfortable, and fun-as-possible experience.
James attended Bellaire High School and studied business administration at the University of Texas. He is dedicated to many community interests and charity organizations. When not working, James enjoys traveling, sports, theater and spending time with family and friends.
