Gayle Kinnie was born in Norfolk, Virginia. She is the daughter of a former Navy Officer and has been a Houston resident since she was one year old. She has spent many years living in Central Houston including West University, Rice Military, Montrose, and currently Oak Forest. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication with a minor in Journalism from Texas State University.
Gayle’s exceptional background is rich in professional management for fundraising, promotions and events. She had a 25 year career where she contributed to enhancing Houston’s higher education, nonprofit and philanthropic community. She held Director positions for Community Relations for the Houston Astros, Protocol and Events for the Chancellor of the University of Houston, Protocol and Events for the President of the University of St. Thomas and Director of Fundraising with Memorial Hermann Foundation. Her impressive career was peppered with countless opportunities to orchestrate outstanding events such as the Heisman Trophy Award Dinner honoring Andre Ware, A Tribute to Excellence Gala honoring Carl Lewis and Hakeem Olajuwon, Unveiling of The Tapestry of the Centuries, featuring George H. W. Bush as the Master of Ceremonies and numerous In the Pink of Health events benefiting Memorial Hermann Breast Care Centers. Her talent and organizational skills utilized in these areas have proven to be invaluable in the success she has accomplished as a realtor.
Gayle has keen insight and obvious eye for detail, which yields a seamless transaction from contract to closing. She believes that all aspects of real estate comprise an intricate balancing act and prides herself in listening to every nuance to achieve the goals that she sets forth for her customers. Multiple transactions have been closed in the Heights, Memorial, Galleria, West Houston and Oak Forest areas.
