For Bridget T. Degan, a career in real estate was a natural extension for her wealth of marketing expertise and interpersonal skills. An active person with an outgoing personality, Bridget enjoys “the art of the deal.” With her strong background in retail sales as both an owner and manager, she understands the value of customer service and believes in maintaining and growing her network of contacts and clients for everyone’s mutual benefit.
Bridget began her real estate career in the title industry where she marketed to her company’s existing client base and originated over ten million dollars in new business closings. As an agent with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, Bridget enjoys the challenge of finding just the right house or the right buyer for new clients and then adding them to her network. A proud native Houstonian, she especially loves touring Houston with newcomers and highlighting all the advantages this city has to offer.
Strong listening and communication skills, combined with technological proficiency, are Bridget’s strengths. She is diligent about staying in touch with both active clients and previous buyers and sellers, keeping them abreast of trends in their neighborhoods using the cutting-edge technology available at Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
Bridget grew up in Royden Oaks, attended Mirabeau B. Lamar High School and graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in French. She remains fluent in French and is conversational in Spanish. Bridget served as treasurer and board member of River Oaks Gardens Condominiums from 2004 to 2006. A member of The Houstonian Club, she enjoys swimming and running and was a marathon Olympic qualifier in 1996. Bridget is an inveterate traveler, particularly in Mexico, Central and South America, and France where she lived for three years.
