Studying fine arts and design in New York led Elizabeth Hamilton to a 15-year career as an art director. First on staff and later as a freelancer, she was selected by a wide range of companies such as Saatchi and Saatchi to CBS. Deciding to make a change, she entered the Health and Wellness industry catering to a private client base for over 10 years.
It was her father, a fellow artist and designer, who encouraged Elizabeth to recognize and appreciate architecture through the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed houses that were neighboring properties to their family home when growing up in Westchester County.
While the hills of Westchester were beautiful and Manhattan exciting, when the motivation to take on an architectural project of her own manifested it was the East End that eventually won out. Summers as a child had been spent on the water in Orient and had formed some of her most vivid and happy memories. Ultimately, it was the restoration of a 150-year-old beach cottage in Amagansett that Elizabeth chose to take on, and it is where she still calls home twenty years later.
The ability to respect the integrity of each property while seeing its hidden potential is what drew Elizabeth to pursuing a career in real estate. Remembering what it's like to find the perfect home is what motivates her to create the same experience for her clients.
