As a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor with Sotheby’s International Realty, Barbara O'Shea has developed a solid reputation for excellence. Her experience includes representation of some of Greenwich’s finest properties from Conyers Farm in back country to Field Point Circle along the shoreline.
Her real state career, which began with Merrill Lynch Realty on Long Island, came into full bloom after her move to Greenwich in the ‘90s. In line with her view that it is essential to give back to one’s community, Barbara soon found herself deeply involved. Her leadership roles include serving on the Vestry of Christ Church Greenwich, the Architectural Design Awards Committee Co-Chair of the Greenwich Arts Council and the Arts Section of The National League of American Pen Women Greenwich Branch. She is currently a Board Member of The Greenwich Arts Council and The League of Women Voters Greenwich.
Barbara has been ranked in the top five percent of sales associates nationwide. She has been recognized by NRT, Sotheby’s International Realty's parent company, for leadership and professionalism in the industry. She has studied for the Certified International Property Specialist, CIPS designation and is a Certified Residential Specialist, CRS with a Broker’s license. Barbara's homes have been featured in numerous publications including Leading Estates of the World, Reside and Sotheby’s Art and Home. Her longtime position as a member of the extensive network of top Sotheby’s International Realty real estate professionals keeps her current with market activity and innovation.
Barbara's serious interest in photography is another plus that helps her to know and understand the community. She is active in local and regional exhibitions where she has been recognized for her work. Her keen artistic eye and interest in architecture are among the valuable assets she brings to her real estate clients on a daily basis, as she helps to guide buyers and sellers to their next home.
