Sally Thornhill is a native of the Bay Area. She grew up on the Peninsula in Atherton and lived in Marin in Kentfield for many years where she raised her son. She was recently lucky enough to relocate to Sonoma.
Sally started in the Real Estate Business in Marin after working in the Public Relations Department of D'Arcy Advertising and the Research Department of Schuman Agnew Stock Brokerage, both in San Francisco. She still trades stocks for her family. She loved the real estate business after one day and was glad to help someone find a home. She feels very fortunate to work for Sotheby's International Realty in Sonoma for their wonderful brand with international exposure, advertising program, digital marketing, and quality print materials.
She has sold property in all price ranges and treats every transaction with the utmost care. She enjoys helping her clients declutter and stage their homes if they need help. She also has the names of top resource people and is happy to coordinate moving for both buyers and sellers. She is a Certified Senior Specialist SRES and Luxury Preview Specialist.
Sally is a former member of Marin Charitable, which gives 100% of their money to at-risk kids. She is also a Sustaining Member of Junior League of San Francisco and a former Parent Board Member of Marin Country Day School in Corte Madera. In Sonoma, she was a member of the Rotary Club where she worked on the Foundation and helped with the Purple Pinkie program to eradicate polio. She is now a member of the Oakmont Rotary Club. She has volunteered for the Sonoma International Film Festival and Sonoma Living Arts and is involved in the Food Program.
Sally graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Atherton and attended Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles and Seattle University in Seattle.
