Jeremy Hughes was born in Santa Fe, NM and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Natural Resources Management. Jeremy originally had a career goal of becoming a game warden for NM game and fish. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the U. S. Army and served three years in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and artilleryman. After fulfilling his contract with U.S. Army, Jeremy started pursing his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2017.
Jeremy, being the outdoorsman he is, has fallen in love with listing land and ranches. He spends a lot of his time viewing different places throughout Northern New Mexico. He is becoming well known for his knowledge of ranches from Santa Fe to Chama. His grandfather, who owns 101.7 FM KDCE radio station, is a local celebrity in Northern New Mexico. Jeremy uses him for advertising and networking in the greater Santa Fe area. Since Jeremy has been in Santa Fe, he has grown an affection for the style and architecture of the homes. It has made him a perfect fit to help sellers and buyers find their dream home. He shares the appreciation for the unique culture, style, and beautiful views only Santa Fe can offer.
In Jeremy’s free time, you can usually find him in the mountains chasing bugling elk, fishing, or with his dog “Dez” hunting waterfowl. He still attends school and puts tremendous effort in his education; whether its formal education or understanding the Santa Fe market. He understands education never ends and strives to learn more every day. This is why he chose real estate as career and Sotheby’s International Realty as a company. He knows he is surrounded by sophisticated people like Gary Bobolsky who has helped him reach new levels as a professional and as a person.
