Real estate is in Jane Anne Mahoney’s DNA. After immigrating from Germany, her great-grandfather participated in the Oklahoma Land Rush in 1889 and staked out 160 acres while working for the railroad. Since that time, her great-grandfather and his many descendants have continued to profit from buying and selling both commercial and residential real estate in the Oklahoma and Cleveland county areas.
After relocating to Santa Fe in 2004, Jane Anne obtained her New Mexico real estate license and began working with both residential buyers and sellers at Sotheby’s International Realty and Santa Fe Properties until she married and relocated to Kansas City, KS in 2009. While living in Kansas City, Jane Anne continued to maintain an active real estate license and invested in distressed and foreclosed properties as rentals, completing the majority of the improvement work herself. Nothing makes her happier than seeing a neglected property become a well-loved family home again.
In addition to her real estate background, Jane Anne’s education and work experience encompass a variety of industries and disciplines. She obtained a BS in accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1989 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dallas in 1997 with an MBA in international marketing. She maintained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with the Project Management Institute (PMI) from 2000-2017 and managed software development and installation projects in the airline, coffee, and healthcare industries throughout the USA, Latin Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. These global work experiences and technical background give her the ability to quickly evaluate the status of properties and come up with creative solutions in challenging situations to keep both sides of a transaction satisfied and ensure a successful closing.
Jane Anne also enjoys working closely with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter to foster kittens and puppies to ensure they are well socialized and adoptable to good homes.
