Committed to the philosophy that a home is like a wonderful piece of art reflecting its owner's personality and representing a sizeable investment, Diane integrates her background in, and passion for, architecture and design with her profession as a successful realtor. With her clients' needs paramount, she brings an eye for detail, tenacity, perseverance and negotiating expertise to every transaction. In addition, having been involved in the start-to-finish construction or remodel of more than 60 homes, and with successes in both the business and community sectors, she has developed vision, management talent, trustworthiness and a can-do attitude.
A native Californian, Diane earned a degree in Fine Art and a Master's in Design, and she was an A.S.I.D. interior designer for over two decades. That expertise allows her to offer her listing clients a bonus: professional staging consultation.
As a Malibu resident for 21 years, she was a Charter Founder of Los Angeles's Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) before moving to Santa Barbara over a dozen years ago and beginning a love affair with the community in which she has become passionately involved. Among other local contributions, she and her children served as foster family for a German Shepherd puppy that, now as an adult, is fully trained and on duty with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. She also served on the Board of the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club and has been a team sponsor.
Diane's in-depth involvement with and knowledge of the community, as well as her integrity, highly personalized service and expertise in architecture and design, make her one of the top real estate agents in Santa Barbara and Montecito. She consistently transcends the everyday client-agent relationship to form strong, trusting and long-lasting bonds with her discriminating clients.
