Steeped in a rich family history dating back to the 1700’s, Delicia Lumpkins comes from a long line of family that helped build Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley. Her Great Great Great Grandfather was Benjamin Foxen of Foxen Canyon. He married Eduarda Osuna who’s stepfather, Tomas Oliviera, owned what is now San Ysidro Ranch. Benjamin Foxen came from England in 1826 as a ship merchant captain. He and his wife settled in the Santa Ynez Valley. Her great grandfather Dr. Nagelmann who came over from Germany would often make house calls in his horse and buggy back when State Street was just a dirt road. The stories and history go on and on.
With deep roots in both Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, Delicia has developed a lifelong familiarity with both areas. Delicia possesses a unique understanding of both local real estate markets and the needs for her clients. Being an agent with Sotheby's International Realty gives Delicia the edge in extraordinary marketing locally as well as internationally. In Delicia’s spare time, when she is not running around chasing her son and puppy, she loves to get out and play a round of golf or explore the amazing beauty the area has to offer.
