Annie Cox was specially selected to join the elite team of top producing agents at Sotheby’s International Realty. She has partnered with Rosalie Zabilla, a well-regarded agent in the Ojai Valley, to help grow and sustain the business.
Before becoming a real estate professional, Annie built her reputation as an entrepreneurial self-starter in politics, environmental advocacy, and production. She worked as a lobbyist in Rhode Island, where she also managed a winning State Senate race in 2008. She traveled to South America with the Waterkeeper Alliance, building campaigns that effectively conserved valuable waterways in Patagonia. In 2011, she co-founded a family business in global wastewater treatment technology. Then in 2015, she co-founded a boutique production company specializing in environmental films. Prior to that, she was a producer for the Oceanic Preservation Society where she researched and developed the feature documentary, Racing Extinction. Annie received her BA from Brown University.
Annie lives in Ojai with her husband, a physician at the Ventura County Hospital, and their son. They moved to Ojai to be nearer to their family in Santa Barbara and to take advantage of the exceptionally good life on the central coast. They are avid proponents of 'Ojai-living' and have already recruited many friends to move to the valley. Annie loves hiking, cooking, live music, political debate, and interior design.
