Caroline began her career in Contra Costa County, where she worked in real estate sales and also in new home development, as a sales manager and assistant to the director of marketing. She moved to San Francisco, and to Hill & Company, in 1983.
A seasoned expert, Caroline has weathered a variety of market conditions. During the past three decades, she has experienced six recessions and the effects they have had on the real estate market. She has found each market climate to be unique and challenging, and believes it is important to be able to modify sales and marketing techniques, and to remain competitive through continuing education and experience. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Caroline earned her B.A. in English Literature and Religion from Indiana University and studied at Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio. She is married to Larry Werboff, a well-respected physician in the San Francisco community and Chief of Urology at California Pacific Medical Center. Caroline and Larry have two sons.
In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees at Congregation Emanuel, and being an active volunteer at the Urban School and Lick Wilmerding High School, Caroline has supported a number of community groups and charities, both personally and through Sotheby's International Realty.
