If you’re looking to buy or sell a house on the Monterey Peninsula, Laith Agha will help you through the process with highly attentive customer service and his intimate knowledge of the local markets—from tip to tip of the county’s extraordinary coastline, to the Peninsula’s most popular neighborhoods and the countryside’s most desired retreats.
A proud Carmel native, Laith was born with real estate blood. After graduating from Cal Poly’s engineering program, Laith got involved in managing his family’s various properties around Monterey County. He then became a keen student of housing markets during stints as a real estate appraiser and in real estate development. He then changed course professionally, spending more than a decade as an award-winning journalist, which included more than four years as a reporter for the Monterey County Herald and earning a Master’s degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
Laith re-entered the real estate world by joining Sotheby’s International Realty in Santa Monica, where he worked with high-end clients in one of the country’s hottest real estate markets. Upon returning to his hometown, Laith joined the Sotheby’s International Realty - Carmel team. He also took a role assisting his family’s real estate development operation, which spans the gamut from managing residential and commercial properties to developing subdivisions.
