Molly Bennett is a California native who has a passion for and an in-depth knowledge of the Westside of Los Angeles, from the Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica Pier where her husband proposed to her to the lovely Westchester neighborhood where they recently purchased a home. She is a dedicated, driven, detail-oriented professional who is committed to getting the best results for her clients. Molly is a licensed attorney whose zealous advocacy during her years practicing law translates into a strong work ethic and a client-focused approach in her present career. The transition from law to real estate was natural for Molly, since she was raised by an architect and a construction attorney who taught her the joy of creating a house that someone will call home.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, Molly was an attorney at a boutique litigation firm in Century City which represents both plaintiffs and defendants in entertainment and business litigation. During her time there, the firm represented numerous A-List celebrities in civil matters, including in disputes relating to intellectual property rights and breach of contract. Molly assisted with negotiation, drafting agreements and resolving several multi-million dollar disputes, all of which helped prepare her to advocate for her clients in real estate transactions to make sure that they get the best deal possible. She also understands the necessity of confidentiality and exercises the utmost discretion to protect the rights of her clients.
Molly received her Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law, where she was Chief Articles Editor of one of UCLA’s most popular law journals. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of California, San Diego, with a Double Major in Political Science and Linguistics. She graduated from UCSD with Provost’s Honors and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and a national political science honors society.
In her spare time, Molly volunteers for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, which provides free or low-cost legal assistance to low-income residents of Los Angeles. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and the State Bar of California.
