Michele Nachbar has a passion for residential real estate and for sharing her energy, hard work, and strong negotiating skills with clients to find them the perfect home or investment. Originally from the Midwest, Michele made the Los Angeles Westside her new Southern California home. Michele grew up in the real estate and building business. Her father was a renowned Chicago architect and builder who passed his interest for renovation, development, and property management to his daughter. Thus, began opportunities for Michele to buy, sell, remodel, and renovate homes and condominiums for herself, family and friends in the Chicago area. The move West led to her obtaining her real estate license in California and expanding her business. She actively works both the Southern California and Chicago real estate markets. Her expertise in these two markets optimizes opportunities to assist buyers and sellers who want to stay in the area or move between these two cities with ownership or investment. Michele prides herself on providing strong service and devotes her full-time attention and energy to a wide range of clients, budgets, and styles in order to find compatible properties.
Prior to entering into the world of real estate, Michele began as a media buyer for an international advertising firm. Having the responsibility for multi-million dollars in advertising revenue strengthened her ability to be a tough negotiator and strong marketer for her clients. While raising her family, Michele launched a manufacturing business. Starting from the ground up, her responsibilities included advertising, sales, and marketing, which grew the company to 15 years of success.
However, working in the corporate world was not her only passion; wanting to give back to the community, Michele spent the last ten years working with special needs preschool children. The patience and empathy she gained from her experiences were seen not only in the classroom, but continued to be displayed through her involvement in Habitat for Humanity.
In her spare time, Michele spends time outdoors gardening, biking, and training for sprint triathlons. On the home front, she enjoys cooking, interior decorating, and photography. Michele and her husband, Mark, live in Westwood; her two grown children work in the entertainment industry and live nearby.
