Joseph Cilic, Senior Vice President, is the branch manager for the Brentwood office of Sotheby's International Realty. With over 65 successful agents affiliated with the office, these independent agents specialize primarily in the west side of Los Angeles, including Brentwood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Hollywood Hills, Marina Del Rey, Pacific Palisades, Mar Vista and Malibu. Joseph has extensive management experience, having managed several different branches with hundreds of independent agents with diverse backgrounds.
Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Joseph worked as a litigation attorney handling real estate-related litigation for a prominent Beverly Hills law firm. As an attorney, he effectively resolved disputes relating to, among other things, issues of nondisclosure, concealment, landlord rights, rent control, prescriptive easements and adverse possession. Agents and their clients can benefit from Joseph's combination of experience as an attorney and his practical approach as a former top-producing sales agent.
Joseph holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a bachelor's degree from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Active in community programs, Joseph currently serves on the Board of Directors of KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) Los Angeles and the Croatian American Benevolent Society, and has served on numerous homeowners' boards.
He is a member of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors and the State Bar of California.
