Cristian E. David is Vice President and Brokerage Manager of the Sotheby’s International Realty - Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica/Venice Brokerages. He has been managing real estate agents for over a decade. Cristian started out as an agent himself in Philadelphia where he quickly climbed to the top 1% of producing agents selling well over $32M in his first 14 months in the business. His primary focus was new development, luxury homes and condominiums, and investment properties. Cristian’s avid taste for sales established him in the community as an agent who focused primarily on building strong relationships among his peers.
In 2007, Cristian joined Keller Williams Realty and launched the downtown Philadelphia office starting with a team of only 60 agents. As a “Black Belt Recruiting Award” winner, Cristian strengthened, built, and led a team of over 120 in less than three years, establishing it as one of the top producing offices within the company’s 800 offices worldwide and top three real estate offices in Philadelphia. Cristian secured his reputation as a strong, relationship-based recruiter by attracting top-level quality agents to the firm. He did so through his effective coaching on real estate negotiation skills, high-performance productivity-based techniques, and team-building/development strategies.
After a small “sting” as an agent, Cristian was recruited to come to Los Angeles and lead the KW office in Calabasas. Soon after, he established that branch as a one of the premier real estate offices in that community, in both the luxury and commercial aspects.
Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, Cristian managed KW Brentwood in Los Angeles for over three years. During this time, Cristian used his highly effective coaching techniques to recruit top producing agents. As an advanced trainer, Cristian established himself as a trend-setter and leader in increasing productivity per agent in the Southern California region. Cristian taught several real estate courses and conducted workshops at numerous offices throughout the US on negotiation skills, selling/buying techniques, and mastering the art of selling in real estate. As one of the top recruiters and sough-after manager, Cristian focused on coaching agents on their mindset, business planning through goal setting and execution, and team building through hiring, leveraging, and motivating talent.
Cristian has also been involved in various leadership coaching programs and has been serving as an ethics advocate and member of the Professional Standards & Grievance Committees where he sits on arbitrations and ethics hearing panels at the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors®. Cristian currently resides in Studio City, CA and enjoys giving back to the communities by donating his time and energy to several non-profit organizations that focus primarily on animal welfare, homelessness, and children in poverty causes.
