Pound Ridge, incorporated in 1788, is located about 50 miles north of New York City in a rural area of Westchester County. Bordering Connecticut, the town maintains beautiful winding roads, wooded hills, lakes and magnificent real estate such as historic antique Colonials. Once referred to as Basket Town for its skillfully created fisherman baskets, Pound Ridge is now a community recognized for its natural beauty and appreciated as a peaceful country retreat.
