Karl is a fifty-year resident of Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties. He became extremely active in community affairs from an early age. Karl attained the rank of Eagle Scout, was an active sports participant at North Salem High School, and was a volunteer firefighter. He received his B.S. from the University of Bridgeport, MBA from Iona College and completed post graduate work at the University of Michigan and the Wharton School of Business.
Karl has lived in and/or been active in real estate sales in the Municipalities of New Castle (Chappaqua), Mt. Pleasant, Bedford, Somers, Lewisboro, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Cortlandt Manor, Carmel, Southeast (Brewster) and Yorktown. Prior to entering his real estate sales career, Karl, as a consultant, designed real estate marketing programs for local real estate companies and for his wife, Phyllis, also a Sotheby's International Realty Sales Associate.
He has held key business development positions as well as the positions of Director and Vice President in the following companies: National Cash Register, Rockwell, Del Global Technologies, Pharmacia, Fuji and Union Carbide. He was also President of Strategic Marketing Unlimited, a consulting business that has provided marketing expertise to a number of real estate, technology, advertising and pharmaceutical firms. Other interests include his involvement in Green Chimneys and the Leukemia Foundation.
Karl, because of his marketing career, believes in education and collateral. Through all of his marketing positions, he has found a way to communicate through presentations and documentation. He uses the marketing process to help clients understand the market conditions, evaluate real estate and guide clients through the complicated selling and buying process of real estate properties.
