Stuart Hoag is an Idaho native who was born and raised in nearby Twin Falls, Idaho. Stuart first visited Sun Valley when he was five years old with his parents and brother. That same year he tried skiing for the first time on Dollar Mountain, enjoying his first chair ride on the world-famous beginner slope of Quarter Dollar. He has been an avid skier ever since. Stuart has a long history of working in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. His first ever job was as a dishwasher at the legendary Warm Springs Restaurant at the age of 14.

After graduating from Twin Falls High School in the spring of 1993, he enrolled in college to pursue a degree in Business Administration at Sierra Nevada College, located on the beautiful shores of North Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Nevada.

Stuart began his real estate career straight out of college, when he became a loan officer for a nationwide mortgage lender. After spending time in Portland, Oregon and Boise, Idaho, Stuart made his way back to Sun Valley. In July of 2004 he became a member of the Sawtooth Board of Realtors after realizing his true passion was not in the lending side of real estate transactions but in the satisfaction of helping people find their dream property in the Wood River Valley.

In his spare time Stuart takes full advantage of living in such a great place. In the summer time he enjoys mountain biking on all of the great trails that surround this area. He may also be seen sitting beach side up north at Redfish and Pettit Lakes. In the winter he enjoys skiing and watching the mountains become covered with pure Idaho snow.
