Jim moved to Idaho in 1976 to work as a backcountry ranger in the Sawtooth Mountains and never left. His eclectic career includes being a fly fishing guide on local waters and international fly fishing trips to Russia, the Bahamas, the South Pacific and New Zealand. Jim's extensive fishing career has been a valuable asset with evaluating sporting ranches. For 24 years he owned and operated Idaho Mudworks, a successful hand painted tile, sinks and pottery business. More recently, Jim has worked as a real estate agent for the past four years.

He has great enthusiasm for the business, representing residential, commercial and ranch properties, and he thoroughly enjoys the process of matching properties with people.
