Within her first year as a realtor, Sandy became one of the top professionals in her company. Since then she has been one of Sotheby's International Realty's highest producing agents year after year, specializing in residential and estate listings and sales in Montecito, Santa Barbara and surrounding areas.
Communication and negotiation are Sandy's golden talents, strengthened by 16 years in sales and marketing prior to her real estate career. Within three months of landing her first job in the communications (radio) industry, she was named General Manager, and guided her company to leadership in market share for the entire country. She is considered to be a master negotiator, consistently delivering the highest price for sellers, and winning in multiple bidding scenarios for buyers. Understandably, the majority of her business is from loyal clients and referrals.
Sandy has taught advertising and marketing, possesses a degree in Journalism and has an in-depth understanding of consumer trends, target demographics and psychographics. Her background in and knowledge of advertising and marketing is unsurpassed.
In addition to being very well known and connected in the business community, Sandy is active and highly respected in the private and non-profit sectors. She is Treasurer of Willbridge of Santa Barbara, a police restorative program assisting the younger homeless population with alternatives to incarceration. An Advocate with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), she assists children in need due to traumatic family situations.
In spite of her busy professional and community service commitments, Sandy manages to make time for her favorite pastimes, cooking and savoring Santa Barbara's outdoor activities. She enjoys intimate dinner parties with friends and frequent hikes with her dog, Buddy.
Sandy's professional affiliations include the Santa Barbara, California and National Associations of Realtors, and she is business partners with fellow realtor Daniela Johnson, also offering an extensive background in sales and negotiation.
