Lowell Hamburg, manager of Sotheby’s International Realty Pasadena, joined the company in 2004 through acquisition of one of the largest regional real estate firms in the Los Angeles area. The Pasadena office with its 100 agents has a significant market share of the local listings and sales. The office draws strength from its diversity and business prowess from its innovation and technology, and is proud of its tradition of making a positive difference in the real estate industry and local communities. Lowell was born and raised in the Midwest and upon graduation from college moved to San Francisco, where he obtained his real estate broker's license in 1974. There he owned and operated his own real estate firm, New West Realty, until he moved to Southern California in 1984 and joined a local brokerage, continuing in sales until assuming a management role in 1999. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and on a local level, the Pasadena Foothill Association of Realtors. Lowell enjoys his work, friends and living in beautiful Pasadena, the home of the Tournament of Roses and magnificent homes by Charles & Henry Greene, Paul Williams, Wallace Neff, Frank Lloyd Wright, Roland Coate and Buff, Straub & Hensman.
