Ed was raised and educated in western Pennsylvania, graduating from Washington and Jefferson College with a B.A. in Business. After graduation he served with the United States Air Force.
Ed moved to Santa Barbara in 1964 and entered the real estate profession on a full-time basis, becoming a broker in 1966. He worked with Pitts & Bachmann Realtors for many years before the company was purchased by Sotheby's International Realty.
Ed specializes in Trusts and Estate Sales working with major banks and law firms.
