Carolyn Garth is an experienced realtor who began her real estate career in 1983 during an economically difficult market, when interest rates were 19% and creative financing was the key to getting a deal together. In the late 1990s, she navigated the tumultuous waters of REOs and short sales. She's also enjoyed the high times of multiple offers.

She first worked in Phoenix, AZ, selling single-family homes, small ranches and apartment buildings. In Los Angeles, she sold beautiful estates to high-end clients, working with their business managers and attorneys. Since coming to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in 1993, Carolyn mostly sells ranches and single-family homes. She is respected for her wide-range of experience and professionalism.

Carolyn is committed to her clients as if they were family. She wants the best possible value, whether for a seller or buyer, and is dedicated to making each transaction a win for everyone involved. She believes there is a way to make most anything happen, she just has to find it. Her clients love her and refer her to their family and friends. As a result, most of her business is repeat and referrals.

She uses a team approach in her business, surrounding herself with like-minded professionals who also put the client first. She has relationships with and recommends the best lenders, escrow officers and professionals in the valley.

Carolyn loves sharing her love for the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley with newcomers. She listens and truly understands her clients' needs. She has instincts for finding unique properties and hidden gems and is the queen of remodels. She definitely understands value and potential.

When not working with clients, Carolyn is busy in her rose garden, playing with grandbabies, writing her novel or oil painting. She is a devoted wife and mother of four amazing daughters. She has a BS in Education and has done Master's work in Psychology. She has owned her own businesses, taught high school and community college, trained corporate sales teams and led motivational seminars.
