Carlo Capomazza, SFR, is a full-time Realtor® Associate coming to Sotheby's International Realty from Hilton & Hyland, an exclusive affiliate of Christie's Great Estates, where he culled and developed a portfolio of listings from Bel Air to Los Feliz. Carlo has lived in Los Angeles for 20 years. His grounding in real estate stems from his New Orleanian family's realty prominence in the central business district, uptown, Folsom, Terrebonne Parish and Mandeville. His mother, a member of many historic and preservation organizations such as The Preservation Resource Center, Friends of the Cabildo, and The Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses, instilled Carlo with the civic merits inherent to architecture and real estate while teaching him to embrace artists, authors, historians, antiquarians and gourmands. Growing up in the Big Easy exposed Carlo at an early age to the beauties and contrasts of this city.

Carlo graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration after having spent four semesters abroad in Florence, London and mainland China and Hong Kong. Returning for his senior year, he acquired such an appreciation for Southern California's eclectic and stylized milieu that he has stayed ever since, residing in West Hollywood.

Prior to practicing real estate full time, Carlo spent ten years in the management and production areas of the entertainment industry, working to fulfill his dream of being a film producer, which he realized becoming a co-producer on Fox's remake of Fantastic Voyage, to be directed by James Cameron.

The experience of being both American and Italian and enjoying his citizenship and family in Italy has given Carlo a continuing passion for the study of different cultures and societies. Therefore, Carlo became a member of The Aztec Club of 1847, The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, The General Society of Colonial Wars and the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, along with the local, state and national Realtor® associations, BHGLAAR, CAR and NAR.

He looks forward to all he learns from the world around him, often capturing it with his 5D Mark II Canon.
