Mr. O'Connor has been a resident of Santa Fe for 18 years. Prior to joining Sotheby's International Realty, Mr. O'Connor spent over 25 years in the film and television business as both a producer and as a Senior Production and Development Executive with Paramount Pictures, the CBS Television Network, Guber-Peters Entertainment and RKO Pictures. Mr. O'Connor is currently an Associate Broker with Sotheby's International Realty, where he specializes in distinctive fine residential properties, commercial and residential developments and conversions. Mr. O'Connor is very active in the Santa Fe community, serving as Chairman of the RANM (Realtor Association of New Mexico) Legislative Committee and on the RANM Forms Committee, responsible for overseeing all RANM forms and contracts used in New Mexico real estate transactions throughout the state. He is a board member of the Tano Road Association and serves as Vice President of the Coming Home Connection, an innovative non-profit healthcare provider organization dedicated to providing in-home palliative care to cancer patients, AIDS patients and long-term head-injury and spinal-chord injury patients. Mr. O'Connor is also an avid outdoorsman, having served as an instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and he is the President of the Truchas Chapter of Trout Unlimited, a nationally recognized conservation organization.
