Born and educated in England, Penelope Vasquez has worked in many parts of the world. Penelope joined Mike Baker in real estate in September 1999, and has participated in numerous successful transactions. Prior to emigrating to the USA in 1981, her travels and work include tourism in Spain; working with the Argentine Embassy in Jamaica; and then to Venezuela and Nicaragua, where for six years she joined the corporate world of the Bank of America, and became the head of Operations for the Venezuela Representative Office of 60 persons. With over 16 years experience in the hospitality industry in the USA, Penelope has a firm commitment to the highest level of service and the ability to listen to people from all walks of life. Together with her husband, Marcelo, she successfully owned and operated three restaurants, one of which achieved national aclaim. After surviving revolution, hurricane and earthquake, there's very little that proves an insurmountable callenge! Now settled in Santa Fe, Penelope is a great protagonist of the lifestyle here and an avid hiker and lover of the outdoors.
