A 31-year veteran of the Santa Fe estate, land, acreage and commercial markets, Mike has over a half billion dollars in local experience. His High End Report on the ReadMike.com website has been praised as the best report on Santa Fe by Fortune 400 members as has his twice monthly Market Snapshot, both of which can be sent out by email. Prior to working in Santa Fe, Mike was Marketing Director of Big Sky of Montana. Mike went to university in San Francisco and at the University of Uppsala, Uppsala, Sweden.

Mike's interests include Shakespeare, writing, all athletics and technical analysis of the currency and commodity and stock markets of the world. He has a Master's Degree in Shakespeare, minoring in History. CZs and KTMs are other passions. He loves mountain running, annually training for the 9,000-foot elevation change Imogene Pass Run, from Ouray to Telluride. Mike has also been a wing forward on a national championship rugby side and twice won his age group in the Santa Fe Ski Basin hill climb bicycle race.

Long known as one of the best analysts of the Santa Fe market, Mike brings a sharply contrarian mind, analyzing national and international actions that affect the local picture. He has headed two local real estate offices and owned over 40 properties, and made a great referral living by telling people to not sell or buy, should the situation not be appropriate. These people later came back, saying he was one of the very few who would tell them things that cost him a commission in the short run if it were still the right advice. Mike believes that informed clients make wise decisions.

While he has handled properties well over $10 million, his listings are chosen by areas in which he has great knowledge, not price.
