Born in California and raised in both Michigan and Texas, Melissa has been in Santa Fe since 1993. She attended the University of South Florida where she studied Theater. She is still active in community theater and is often cast in the summer productions of the Historic Madrid Melodrama. Melissa's interest in cinema is equally matched by her love of history, particularly Southwestern and Civil War. Prior to working with Sotheby's International Realty, Melissa owned and operated a tour brokerage company, specializing in historic tours in the downtown Santa Fe area.

Melissa serves on the Santa Fe Board of Realtors as the Chairperson for the Membership Committee. In addition, she writes a monthly advice column, Pip's Tips, published by the Santa Fe New Mexican in their Real Estate Guide. As one of the leading sales agents for her office, Melissa has all the qualities one would expect from a top producer. She is a skilled administrator and a good communicator with the ability to make things happen. Her strength with contracts and her attention to detail maker her a well-respected negotiator.
