A Denver native, Marilyn Foss graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Journalism and pursued her MFA in Fine Arts Photography at the University of Oregon. Arriving in Santa Fe in the mid 1970s, she freelanced for the Albuquerque Journal as its cultural arts photographer and helmed the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra's marketing department. Marilyn joined French and French Fine Properties as a founding associate broker in 1985, shortly after it opened its doors. In 2004 the company was acquired by Sotheby's International Realty, where she has continued her successful career.

Giving back to her community has always been a priority to Marilyn Foss. For three years, she chaired the Buckaroo Ball's House & Garden tour. Having helped open one of the first Native-American art galleries in Santa Fe, she has remained a stalwart supporter of the Native American arts community.

In her spare time, Marilyn indulges her passion for photography. Her work has been featured in galleries and published collections. She is also the happy mom to three kitties.
