A 22 year resident of Santa Fe, Chris Haynes brings a broad range of experience and knowledge to the real transaction process. Before becoming a Realtor 16 years ago, Chris was in the securities industry for 15 years, working for Dean Witter & Co. and then Cantor Fitzgerald. Throughout his life, he has enjoyed remodeling income properties as well as his own residences. A native of New York, Chris graduated from the University of Arkansas and lived for many years in Southern California. He enjoys all types of music, but especially choral. For many years, he sang with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Chris also enjoys the mountains around Santa Fe which provide abundant opportunities for recreation, both summer and winter. Chris's biggest thrill in real estate is solving problems for his clients and the key to this is his ability to listen carefully. He especially enjoys the process of participating in new construction, remodeling and just plain finding the right property. For the past 12 years, he has been partnered with Moo Thorpe. Together, they work with builders and developers, as well as buyers and sellers of historic buildings, haciendas, Southwest contemporary, pueblo revival, Territorial and Northern New Mexico style homes. Together with Moo, Chris is excited about the marketing opportunities available to him and his clients through his affiliation with Sotheby's International Realty.
