Caroline is a native Houstonian. She graduated from Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC with a degree in Human Development and specialization in Childhood Education. She is married to architect and native Santa Fean Steve Russell. A real estate professional since 1990, she was a top producer in Houston with the Sotheby's affiliate John Daugherty Realtors and had her own real estate company in Galveston, Texas before coming to Santa Fe. She holds a real estate broker's license in both Texas and New Mexico. Caroline is a member of CRS, serves on the Santa Fe Association of Realtors Board of Directors and is the 2006 President of Women's Council of Realtors. Committed to charity work, Caroline is a member of the Junior League of Houston, has volunteered with March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis and helped form the Galveston affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. She currently serves on the Women Build Committee of Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity, and is the chairperson of their annual Kentucky Derby Day Event. Caroline is devoted to the community of Santa Fe, as well as Steve, Doc, their black lab, and Thompson, their beagle.

Her areas of expertise include discriminating buyers, distinctive homes and premier residential building sites.
