Fine dining opportunities in Palm Beach

The town of Palm Beach is often regarded as one of the best areas in all of Florida. The region receives ample amounts of sunshine year-round and boasts miles of pristine beaches, as well as offers individuals the opportunity to shop at the best stores and dine in the finest restaurants. It's no wonder that both affluent seasonal visitors and residents who own luxury real estate have come to expect nothing but the best of everything.

Although Miami and other metropolitan areas across the Sunshine State have been recognized for their expert chefs and high-end culinary establishments, some of the absolute best restaurants are found in Palm Beach, and have been satiating droves of ravenous diners with fresh, unique cuisine for years. Those who currently live on the barrier island - as well as those planning an upcoming trip - can enjoy visiting the following eateries, which have received much critical acclaim.

Cafe L'Europe
This classic Palm Beach restaurant was opened in 1980 by proprietor Norbert Goldner and his wife Lidia at its original location on Worth Avenue on the second floor of the Esplanade. Countless fashion designers, business leaders, international travelers and celebrity personalities became regular customers, as the eatery's profile as a luxury establishment grew. Then, after 15 successful years, the couple orchestrated a move into a larger space in a more prominent location on the Esplanade, where it is currently found today

The restaurant's expertly prepared menu is populated by many savory dishes and hors d'oeuvres, including pan seared Chilean sea bass and Maine lobster risotto with white truffle oil. Meanwhile, the wine list features dozens of vintage and contemporary blends imported from as far away as France and Italy, as well as from California.

Celebrating cuisine from China, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam, this eatery is often considered Palm Beach's premier sushi bar and fusion restaurant. The 4,700-square-foot interior is decorated with rich colors, highlighted by bamboo and steel accents. The menu includes a variety of fresh seafood and steak, as well as creative noodle and rice dishes. Oenophiles are also welcome here, as the wine list is lengthy and filled with choice blends.

The open kitchen allows both diners to watch the chefs craft their meals and the cooks to see patrons enjoying their food. Those with a penchant for vibrant nightlife should be sure to visit this business during the evening hours, as its Dragonfly Lounge is one of the local hot spots.
