As a 1981 graduate of Boston College School of Management, Wally holds a BS in Marketing and a minor concentration in Finance.

Joining the firm of E. F. Hutton in Manhattan, Wally went through the company's training program to become an investments broker. After five successful years, he was hired by Smith Barney Harris Upham as a Vice President and continued his career as a broker.

In 1991, Wally and his wife relocated to Palm Beach. He had been visiting Palm Beach since childhood, as his mother's family was one of the early settlers on the island, arriving in 1910.

After joining Prudential Florida Realty in Palm Beach in 1991, Wally was asked to join Sotheby's International Realty in 1992. He became one of the company's leading producers locally and internationally, achieving a position in the top 1% of the firm. His business is primarily referrals from clients, local business people, friends and contacts. He is fortunate to have a large referral network with other real estate brokers around the world. He is a full-time real estate professional and employs a full-time licensed assistant.

Frequently quoted in trade and other publications, Wally has been a source for The Wall Street Journal, Time, Palm Beach Business Review, Palm Beach Daily News, The Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Cottages and Gardens, Avenue and Forbes.com.

He has served on the board of directors of Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, the county's largest children's development agency, for more than ten years. For the last five years he has served as chairman of the board.

At church, Wally serves as chairman of the ushers and has served on the vestry for a term of three years. Additionally, he has been a member of the allocations committee for the United Way/Community Chest for four years, including two as panel chairman.
