Sonja Abrahamsen now lives full time in sunny Palm Beach after relocating from Boston, Massachusetts, where she owned a fashion production business and was active in television commercials and fashion modeling. A first generation Norwegian, Sonja was born and raised in New York City.
A world traveler, Sonja has lived in southern Norway, Saint Paul de Vence, France, and Monaco, where she participated in numerous real estate investments. Sonja speaks fluent Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish.
Sonja has two children, a daughter Kristen, who is also active in the modeling business as well as raising three girls of her own, and a son Richard, residing in Los Angeles and active in the film industry, most recently acting as assistant to the producers on the film Crash, a shoo-in for the 2006 Academy Awards.
