Nancy Woods’ love, curiosity, and enthusiasm for New York City’s culture, community, and history are channeled directly into her work as a real estate professional. Nancy is a second generation agent who learned from an early age that real estate is a service that requires trust, dedication, and transparency. This begins by carefully listening to her clients’ criteria, explaining the nuances of the buying and selling process, and advocating on her clients’ behalves to get the best possible deal terms.
Nancy is a 20-year NYC resident who spent her formative years in Laguna Niguel, CA and Simsbury, CT. From an early age, she trained with several acclaimed ballet teachers and performed and toured with both the Hartford Ballet and the Pennsylvania Ballet. As a former dancer, Nancy developed the work ethic, discipline, grace, and tenacity to set and achieve her goals. Her experiences navigating the arduous and painstaking ranks of the ballet world gave her the fortitude to work through any obstacles she encounters.
Nancy graduated Cum Laude with a double major in History and Journalism from Hunter College on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. After receiving her degree, she worked for eight years in an oper¬ational role at a private equity firm and as a marketing coordinator for a hedge fund. Her years in finance taught her how to carefully follow market trends, forecast potential dips in the market, and make sound investments. She utilizes these skills to educate her clients on the current real estate landscape.
Nancy resides with her husband in Hudson Heights where she enjoys spending time in Fort Tryon Park. She is a member of the Information Committee at the New York City Ballet, volunteers for New York Cares, and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
