Glenn Norrgard, Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker, began his real estate career in 1994, joining Sotheby's International Realty in 1999.
For sellers, Glenn has a proven track record for attaining the best price available in a given market and for constructing all aspects of a transaction. Glenn understands that the disposition of real estate is asset management and factors in all financial implications of a sale so that his client can evaluate the best course of action.
For buyers, Glenn is unrelenting in his availability to show and pursue property that matches a customer's requirements. As a resident of Manhattan for 20 years, Glenn matches client needs to a property's aspects, using both his professional expertise and personal understanding of an area's amenities.
Glenn can refer clients relocating to an agent that will handle their real estate needs globally. Glenn has successfully referred clients to Hawaii, Asia, Europe, California and the Hamptons. By relying upon the strength of the global Sotheby's International Realty brand, Glenn is in the unique position to provide service locally and beyond New York's borders.
In addition to drawing upon Sotheby's International Realty's vast array of resources, in 2003, Glenn created a sales team with John Tenore. Both are available to clients and customers to help them achieve their goals. To them it is important to guide their clients through the vast array of choices and decisions involved in buying and selling property.
In 2007, Glenn was selected by the Real Estate Board of New York to receive further education for agents that have achieved prowess in the industry in a forum to share, discuss and work upon improving the client and customer experience with regard to the sale and rental of New York City property. Only 30 agents were chosen to attend this training and receive the NYRS designation to show their commitment to ethics, knowledge of the market and negotiating skills.
This past year Glenn has continued to rank within the top one percent of all 64,000 NRT sales associates nationwide.
A graduate of Cornell University, Glenn earned Bachelor's degrees in both Applied Statistics with honors and Psychology. Glenn is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
