Christian Emanuel is a Licensed Salesperson with Sotheby’s International Realty. Prior to joining the company, Christian was a brokerage manager and founding-level agent of a startup brokerage in Manhattan, specializing in relocations.
Observant and studied, Christian has developed a vast knowledge of New York’s hyper-local neighborhoods and micro markets, constantly reading between the lines of Manhattan’s storied grid. Because he believes that having your finger to the pulse is just as important as a historical insight, each transaction gives Christian’s customers an opportunity to benefit from his knowledge and intensive research. Christian attacks every listing or home search with an eagerness to address questions, unearth answers and empower his customers to make educated decisions.
Outside of his real estate work, Christian is also a community activist in New York’s outspoken Landmarks Preservation community. He has successfully proposed buildings to the Landmarks Preservation Commission of New York City and has worked with various elected officials and non-profits to help guard historic structures and their legacies against the threats of demolition and overdevelopment.
Christian is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Film & Television Program, where he also double majored in Religious Studies. Christian is working in a strategic partnership with one of the firm’s senior agents, Stan Ponte, a fellow graduate of Tisch. Stan is an 18 year veteran of the Manhattan brokerage community and has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 250 agents by The Wall Street Journal.
